Pg ni we have a small discussion with my mom .. actually its all about the Perhimpunan Perdana Pelajar2 Perubatan dr serata dunia.. yg bakal berlangsung dlm sebulan lagi..

so, Helmi selaku program manager nak touchup2 la sikit2 ape yg x habis lagi ngan my mom (Advisor in this committee)...

Banyak gak actually benda2 yg perlu disettlekan.. xsempat habis harini cz my mom need to go to her clinic.. so, insyaallah my mom cadangkan meeting ni akan disambung di Jusco Ipoh esk... haha meeting sambil shopping ... hmm tgk r camne..

:: Bertemakan ::
"Biduk Lalu Kiambang Bertaut"

Introduction
‘Perhimpunan Perdana Student Chapter 2009’ is an exquisite annual event which gathers all allied medical and health sciences students as well as members of PPIM Student Chapter from local and abroad colleges and universities. Exposure to issues unrelated to academic syllabus and normal curriculum are discussed. It is also an opportunity for students to apply the theories gained and expose them to the real life situations on providing better quality of life aside from reaching out to the local villagers with talent and energy as a humanitarian work. Among the activities planned to be carried out during the event are:

1) TALK AND FORUM
i.Disaster Management – regards to the sufficient treatment and significant care provided to injured victims. Talk will be given by a representative from Mercy Malaysia.
ii.“Kebersihan Dalam Profession Kesihatan Dari Sudut Islam”- regards to the importance and management of hygiene and performing prayers in certain hazardous and deserted areas during emergency conditions.

2) MOBILE CLINIC
-Medical check up are carried out around the local villages to provide intensive care and improve recognition health of the villagers.
-Apart from that, hygiene and cleanliness will be observed. Thus, the essential of health education will be elaborated for better understanding.

3) HEALTH CARNIVAL
i.Free Medical Check Up - Basal Metabolism Index (BMI), Cholesterol,
Glucose and Blood Pressure Level
ii.Free Dental Check – Cavities, Plaques, Tonsils, Infection
iii.Free Eye Check – Glaucoma test, Power test
iv.Free Diet Consultation
v.Basic Life Support (BLS) Demonstration – Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation
vi.Blood Donation
vii.Medical and Health Education
viii.Environmental Awareness & Education
ix.Safety Awareness & Education

4) GRAND ANNUAL SUMMIT
-The main gathering of all the medical students from local and abroad
institutions to exchange experiences, differences and feedback from the event participated.
-Meeting by the representatives of each student chapters will be held.

250 Medical, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences students from local and abroad universities. 30 doctors, nurses, medical assistants and paramedics. 100 kids and 1000 villagers .
